Megan Garrett: President 2011 - 2013
|
Megan Garrett graduated from Marshall University with a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree with an emphasis in Psychology. She grew up in McDowell County, West Virginia where her family were the only Jews for miles. Once she moved to Marshall, she became the MUJSA president and became a Sunday School teacher and Youth Group Advisor at the local synagogue.
"MUJSA was a wonderful experience for me because I was able to connect with Jewish students on campus on so many different intellectual and spiritual levels. MUJSA provided me with a place to belong on Marshall's campus and helped instill a pride and passion in me for Judaism." |
Chad Greene: President 2008 - 2009
|
Chad Greene graduated from Marshall University with a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree with an emphasis on Psychology, Sociology and Religion. He grew up in Chesapeake OH and his father worked at Marshall University for 25 years. Chad currently works on the board of the Federated Jewish Charities of Huntington WV and is the group coordinator for the Marshall University Jewish Student Association.
"MUJSA has always been a small group of students but that relationship has allowed each of us to find our place in the community as well as on campus. We have strong Jewish support here and that makes a huge difference! Being Jewish on campus is a lot of fun now!" |
